I have been working on a rebranding strategy with a wonderful company out of Ethiopia called Connected in Hope. I have visited their facilities in the past where the women weave both fabrics and baskets. Ryane and her mother Pam are both delightful to work with and care deeply for the people of Ethiopia. I believe in what they are doing and encourage you to check them out. It's a great place to shop to freshen up your kitchen with some new linens or a fruit basket, or get some jewelry or a leather tote for yourself or a gift. They are also a member of the Fair Trade Federation. Keep your eyes peeled for new products and visuals over the next year! (see the old vs. new logo that they came up with below. rebranded photos by Kelsey Wilson)
There are so many wonderful companies these days doing good and impactful work, and Love 41 is one of them. Tina and Suzette, sisters and founders, do an excellent job at providing handbags that are functional and classic with high quality construction, and a cause to back it all up. Check out their website Love 41 and see for yourself.
I was able to style and produce a photo shoot for them with photographer Kelsey Foster in Dallas, Texas. It was easy to feel inspired by the bags we were shooting for each look.
Last month I flew to Dallas to style a shoot for Love 41. It was fun working with Tiffany Schwedland, she's always my go to MUA (Make-Up Artist). This was my first time to work with Photographer Kelsey Foster. She was so light hearted and easy to work with. She has a keen eye for lighting and making the most beautiful and feminine images. We all enjoyed the process- maybe a bit too much!
Our model was Taneia, mother of two, and beautiful both inside and out! It was fun to play dress up with her all day!
It was a privilege to work with Love 41. They specialize in leather products and donate 100% of their profits to orphan and widow programs.
Here is one of the images from the shoot. More will come this Autumn/Winter on the Love 41 web site!
