india.WEEK 2

I spent this week getting to know all the employees at JOYN and starting to work on new bag designs. I've never worked or met any Tibetan people so getting acquainted with them was a pleasure. They were all good humored, jokesters, and very affectionate. It was easy to feel at home here. 

I mainly worked with "Master Ji" on all the design samples. Despite the language barrier we were able to joke around and laugh a lot!

I also got to eat Tibetan/Indian food everyday for lunch through JOYN's lunch program. Lunch is always eaten together out on the driveway, weather permitting. Jin-Choup cooked our food everyday and gives the best hugs! I'd usually request one before and after meals.
